The Healthy (& binge free) Way!
So, chocolate has been calling me. I have been so good since last sunday when I had a few mini chocolate barsl And knowing that if I leave the house I would be buying a bag of them (or two). I knew I needed to do something.
So, my solution was to re-vamp my normal yogurt snack which is usually single serving container of plain 0% fat greek yogurt, with strawberries and cereal (I've discovered that 1/4 - 1/3 C is a good ratio of fruit:yogurt:crunch and pretty low calorie depending on brand).
Today's snack: yogurt (5.3 oz/80 cals) + 2 TBSP unsweetened cocoa powder (20 cals) + 2.5 stevia packets (0 calories) = YUMMY! Any no calorie sweetener could be used, and since cocoa powder is only 10 calories to a tablespoon, it can be made as chocolatey and sweet as you want it. I think I might try a little more cocoa next time. But still. I sprinkled in a little cereal for a crunch in some it and dipped strawberries in the rest... Holy Cow!! It was great on strawberries. It would make a fantastic healthy dessert too.
So happy that I was able to curb my craving with out giving in to a major binge. Yay me!

What a great snack idea! Glad you resisted.
LOVE this. It's going straight into my notebook under "safe solids" :D
Many thanks!
