Laxatives are evil and I am throwing them all away when I get home. Okay, probably not. But I have been feeling like shit (pardon the pun) for two hours. I finally feel like there isn't an alien baby trying to rip through my abdomen to do a tap dance across the table.


So, my snafu yesterday cost me half a pound. Though I am pretty sure that I got rid of that during my 5 trips to the bathroom this morning. The plan today is all fruits and vegetables only 200 cals of whole grain (50 cereal, 150 bread), 60 of hummus, and 60 of yogurt. I should, if I avoid the staff lounge, only come in at 1000 calories today. Now that I feel human again, I feel like it's do-able.

I went out after work and bought a ton of produce yesterday, made myself a sandwich and a salad and some no calorie salad dressing (AC vinegar, mustard, splenda or stevia). I even brought my own plate and silverware so I don't have to eat in the lounge. I am going to the picnic tables outside and enjoying the weather and my book.

With my workout this morning and only a 1000 intake, I barely have to burn anymore to get my 700 calorie deficit. But considering the damage I did yesterday, I am going to aim for 1000 and get on the treadmill for a while this afternoon. The bottom of my left foot is hurting I think from running on pavement every day. So I'm going to try power walking inclines at the gym.

Way to get back on track. Before you probably would have said screw it and raided the break room. Great progress.

I've never taken laxatives. I've heard that fruits can act as a natural laxative! Maybe try that instead? Stay strong! xoxo

Lita, fruit has a lot of fiber in it so it pushes things along. But, I took stimulant laxatives - I don't recommend it. The cramps were horrible as was running to the bathroom every 20 minutes.
