If I can keep it off this weekend I will make my goal of 120 by Feb 1.
It's the third time I've gotten up early to exercise before going to work. Still level 1 but I burned close to 300 calories this time. I am managing to do more pushups that I did on Monday - so maybe I am not realizing that I am working harder. Because it doesn't seem like I am.
Tomorrow I go for a run at the gym. I'm actually looking forward to it. Saturday is my day off and Sunday run again. I hope to just maintain 120 over the weekend.
I have put myself on a food budget. Literally I am budgeting how much I money I spend on food. I think it will help me in two ways - saving $$ and eating better. I have alotted myself $50 a week. A good portion of that goes to produce because I buy organic. My apples for this week cost me just over $8. For APPLES. I am going to try a couple different grocery stores that are still on my way home from work to see if I can't find better prices. But still. I haven't spent $50 this week and some of my purchases were staples like oatmeal which will take me a month to use up, english muffins and which should last me into next week if not all of next week. I haven't eaten out since Saturday either.
This afternoon was tough though. I said no to cookies that a co-worker brought for me - she knows my sugar addiction, so she was nice about me not wanting it - but then I just really had a craving for mexican and so wanted to stop at Taco Bell. That's what I had on Saturday when I felt super fat while out with my BF. It sat in my stomach and made me feel so sick. Still, all I could think about was nachos and candy. I didn't give in though. I came home and took a nap - I knew that being tired had a lot to do with wanting that type of food. When I woke up I made a poached egg w/ 1/2 slice of low fat cheese on a whole wheat english muffin. It was really tasty even though I over cooked the egg so the yolk was cooked instead of semi runny. But, no oil to cook it and it's been my most successful poached egg yet. Then I snacked on cucumber and red pepper slices. According to My Fitness Pal. I was WAY over estimating their calories.
Now I am off to bed so I can run in the morning.

Yeah! A small victory on the way to your bigger goals. That's great. You are so awesome for getting up in the morning for exercise. I still can't seem to manage such a thing!
I figured out the other morning that the reason I can manage the early morning work out (at home) is that my while my brain doesn't like to work in the morning - I'm the type of person who answers the phone and is talking before entirely awake - my body is ready to go. So I don't bother with being entirely "awake" when I start my workout, I'm usually yawning and a bit groggy when I start.
