So, I am still holding steady right around 121, 122. Though two weeks ago I was down to 119.5 which was awesome, and then I went away for the weekend with my boyfriend, and out with my dad for father's day.

My newest attempt for weight loss? Jillian Michaels. I read her book Master your metabolism and really had my eyes opened. As of June 1st I joined her website and gave up: High Fructose Corn Syrup, Aspartame, saccharine and Sucralose (basically all chemical non-caloric sweeteners), and preservatives (most food that comes in a box or bag). I also started a 5K running program in conjunction with J.M.'s Dvds (which are kick ass, by the way).

I was really enjoying it and doing well. Eating better really made me feel better and I was seeing the weight come off - I was 128 (stupid memorial day weekend!) on June 1, and on June 19 I was 119.5. So it was working. But then I went to a wedding with my boyfriend out of town and got off my work out schedule. Fathers day was another day I spent mostly in the car and at a restaurant. Then I had a major assignment I procrastinated on up until that week so I spent every day after work in the library at a computer.

Now I'm out of the habit - and I'm craving sweets and junk food again. : (

Thankfully I've held steady in the two weeks since Father's Day and I haven't gotten past 122. But, I didn't hit my July 4th goal of 118 either. I'm pretty mad at myself. I'm going on a family vacation on July 10th and I know that will also mess up my routines and diet... I'm hoping I can pack my work out clothes and at least go running 3 times while I'm there, and skip most of the junk I know my family will be eating.
