So, that worked last night. The food porn (I use foodporndaily.com) totally helped. You wouldn't think that looking at pictures of tasty food would help curb the cravings but it did. I can only explain it by saying that it calmed me down so that I didn't feel the need to go find food. Otherwise when I'm in binge-mode it's like a voice that just keeps telling me to find food, look for it, go buy it anything, but I just have to have it. It's almost like anxiety, which is why I usually end up pacing in my kitchen from refrigerator to pantry and I can't sit still - even when I'm watching tv and binging - I am constantly getting up and walking around and eating more.

But, I didn't do that last night! I looked at my food porn - saw some things I really hope to make - figured out calories for today with the idea that I wanted Indian takeout, but by the time I got to bed I had changed my mind. Too many calories late in the day, I would have had to restrict hard core until almost 9pm to do that. I may see if the BF will do an Indian buffet on Sunday and only eat that all day.

I also found a great fitspiration pic and left it on my computer so I'd see it in the AM. I taped a pic of one of my goal rewards on my bathroom mirror, and hung my fave bikini that I'm wearing in Jamaica in July on the closet door.

This weekend is going to be a good one. I am not going to binge. I am not going to buy any candy or chips. Though I did figure out my calories today to include red vines when I watch Fringe (my other Lent exception) I have decided against that too. Instead I am going to air pop some popcorn (only 60 cals) and have some diet cherry soda. Still snack-y but much better for me and I'm going to use the 100 calorie I save to have light beer with dinner.

Had this on my computer this morning and I looked at that while working out instead of watching TV!

I've seen this fitspiration before, it's motivated me as well :)

Indian take out is hard to resist, it's a weakness of mine too.
