I planned out a normal day of eating on Thursday only to get to work and realize we were getting free lunch. I half hoped they'd be having something non-veg so I could skip it, but it was Mexican, which is my favorite food. Even terrible, mass produced Mexican food tastes good to me. And they always have great treats for dessert. I probably over estimated the calories on some stuff, but I wanted to err on the side of caution. Of course knowing I wasn't being as good as I should have been I should have skipped my doritos & candy snack, but I was hungry waiting in rush hour traffic (I knew I should have left them in my desk!). The plus side is that the old S.S.E. would have had a half plate of salad with a full ladle of salad dressing, an enchilada and rice, then gone for a second helping of enchilada and rice. The NEW S.S.E had a whole plate of salad with less than a scoop of dressing, 1 enchilada and some rice
with out getting seconds! Now, if I can start passing up the dessert... yeah, that's the day you check for a pulse :)
The bad news is that the scale didn't go down this morning. The good news is that the scale didn't go up either! Which means, that I may have to lower my calories from a net of 1000 to a net 0f 800. Which I plan to do today.
