Well, technically today is Saturday... but lets talk about yesterday instead.

First off, I was good. I was so good and I am so very proud of myself. I got up early and worked out, even though I worked the late shift. For the first time since in probably five months I ate breakfast without reading or watching something. Just me and my food. It was weird, but it kept me focused on what I was eating, what I liked about it, and I took alot longer to eat. I didn't look up from my show after 5 minutes and realize I was done eating. I made myself put my spoon down in between each bite and hold my coffee cup. Then I drank some coffee or water before having another bite. After my oatmeal was finished I had a chocolate chip cookie. Bad I know. But I did the same with the cookie. I ate it in smallish bites, focusing on the taste and texture and how wonderful it was to be eating it. Again, I stopped and drank my coffee or in between bites. And, you won't believe me, but I was full when I was done. I am sure I was full of water and coffee. But who cares. I didn't want to eat again until 12:30.

I recently discovered food porn. And spent most of my evening at work salivating over it.

I tend to read or watch tv while eating too. Bad habit. That is so cool that you were consciously eating. I need to do that. Keep up your great work!!
