I think it's a little ironic considering the past two days I have not gotten my full two workouts in. Yesterday I only got one. I am currently 124.5 and that was first thing in the morning before I took a huge dump at work (gross sorry) which I needed badly. I have stuck to about 1200-1300 calories a day, with a net about of 800/900 calories. I'm hoping that this is key giving my body fuel so that it actually boosts my metabolism and burns more. I think not eating the sugar this week is also helping. Today is day 3 without it! It's amazing how much more food I can get with 1300 calories when it's whole foods instead of candy. You'd think I'd know this by now, but every time I go back to healthy eating I'm surprised by this fact.
Other good things that are happening are my nails are growing. They've never been this long with out extensions before. My hair is looking better too. I think it's funny because I used to load up on Biotin in the hopes that it would help these things, and it never worked. Now, I think it's because I've been less scared of eating protein since I did so good limiting my wheat-type carbs before going to Jamaica. I've been having peanut or almond butter every day, and an egg almost every day. I've been eating oatmeal or quinoa for breakfast too and getting about 40grams of protein a day which is about double what I used to aim for. I've just been making sure I keep to my calorie limits and not worrying about the macro-nutrients beyond sodium.
My skin has cleared up remarkably since getting home from Europe. I have given up almost all cow dairy. The only thing I have is half and half in my morning coffee. I did that because I have heard that the hormones and antibiotics they give to cows can cause acne in adults. And I have seen a huge improvement. I still have some scars left over, but I've had one new break out since coming back and I can link that to the cheese I had at my BF's parents house. I still eat goat cheese or feta (sheep's cheese) and my eggs are from all natural chickens. I can't believe that's all it took to get my skin under control.
All in all good things. And OK is acting more like himself today. A little subdued, but a lot better than yesterday.

Glad the kitty is ok- :)
I have heard that about cows milk aswell- glad it is working so well for you.
I can not seem to be able to grow my nails.. They are too soft and break off easy...
Not really sure what to do about it anymore :(
I actually tried goat cheese for the first time over the weekend on flatbread. It was pretty good. Kinda sweet. Very soft.
