I woke up with the BF, which was super nice. I could have stayed there for so much longer than I did. He's an awesome cuddler. But I had to get home to check on Orange Kitty, and I was expecting a call from the vet.
OK had diareha yesterday and then started vomiting. Today he was listless and lethargic, not at all his curious outgoing self. So I didn't wait to hear from the vet and called them. The vet was able to see me and I was there for 2 hours. They had to anesthitize him, take x-rays, draw blood, put in a catheter and give him two medicine shots. When I brought him home he was still pretty sluggish, but seemed to be getting better. The vet thinks it's a UTI. He's already got problems with his mouth and swollen gums. He was supposed to start medicine for that today, but he can't now because of this problem and he has to be on antibiotics for awhile.
So that was the majority of my day. I did manage to get some stuff done, work out, start making my Alice dress. I got ready for work in record time after getting home from the vet. I felt bad leaving a groggy kitty, but I was already an hour late for work. I stopped for gas and got a diet dr. pepper at the same time, only to have it spill all over my car, including the inside when I got to work and was struggling with all of my stuff.
We had two presentations at work today - a long one and a short one. Guess who drew the long straw? That'd be me. Guess who doesn't get to take a break because she came in late? That'd be me too. Guess who get's to come back and do it all again in just 9 hours? Did you guess me? You guessed right! Now take a wild leap and try to figure out who may have forgotten about a homework project due on Sunday and a choir concert on Saturday? Yep, that would be this girl again.
In other news. My weight went down today. So I am back to last week's weight. Which is nice. My indiscretions didn't cost me too many days. But I will have to be extra careful this weekend. I've added a few intensely fit girls on MyFitnessPal.com - seriously they're like 18, 19 years old (they make me feel old!). So I am hoping that the fact that they manage to be like 110 lbs and keep to 1200 calories and work out will inspire me to keep doing the same. I've also just finished day 2 of no sugar (except for some gum which I'm pretty sure is sugar free). I am very proud of myself : )

Sounds like a rotten day!! Sorry about your cat. We can only hope the next day is better. Just keep keeping on. Oh, and I love cuddling too. I love it that hubby likes it too.
