I started Insanity today. It's cardio based as opposed to P90X which is mostly weights and resistance. I'm hoping I will like it more because of that and stick with it for 63 days.
It was just the fit test and that was pretty hard. I know that I can push myself to do the workouts, but the fit test showed me just how out of shape I actually am.
Switch Kicks: 36 (each leg)
Power Jacks: 39
Power Knees: 42
Power Jumps: 26
Globe Jumps: 6 (1 set = 4 jumps)
Suicide Jumps: 13
Push-up Jacks: 8
Low Plank Obliques: 20
I have 15 pounds to lose at the minimum (20 would be nicer). And I'm hoping I can do it by March, or April at the latest. I took my measurements and starting weight... which I am super ashamed to post. But I might. Just because.
Life has been pretty freaking crazy lately. Big changes are ahead in my life. But I'll talk more about that in the days to come when I actually have time to sit and write and not just dash this out in the few minutes before heading to bed. I am up super early for my first real Insanity workout, hopefully I survive.
