Needless to say, I am not any lighter today that I was yesterday. But my chest and arms are sore from working out.
To keep the munchies at bay today I upped my calories a little (I have been going for about 1000, today more for 1200) with a little extra protein. I'm hoping that will keep the munchie monster under control. I also spread everything out so that I have a snack for the ride home. Which hopefully will let me be food free for the night before going to bed.
So, after posting that picture of the move from Body Revolution I had been describing to the BF I did workout number 12. And she had a circuit of planks with a back fly - basically the first part of the Gif I put up yesterday:
And JM starts it by recommending light weights (3 lbs). Which of course, I didn't listen to. I mean, did I not just get done doing a way harder move last week? So yeah, I got the 5s and used those instead. The first time anyway. I went back to 3s the second time.
But, let me tell you there are plenty of exercises I still can't do -
V-flyes (wishing I could go lower than 3lb)
skaters with 3lb weights in hand (I drop them half way)
Side Plank Crunches (I have to be on my elbow not my hand)
But, it's all okay because I've still made lots of progress in other areas. My endurance has increased as well as my strength in some areas. Now, if I can get the scale to match. I'd be a happy camper.

Be warned I almost never re-blog or post. I got it mainly because Google Reader is being discontinued in 2 weeks and I need to be able to follow all the blogs I read. Blogger keeps those ones, but I was using Google Reader to read all of them in one spot. To be honest, there are very few tumblr blogs I like. Most are just re-posting everything else, so I see the same things again and again. When I started my tumblr I didn't follow every blog in my GR for that very reason.
Plus (and this could be my age showing - I imagine it's full of 14-19 year old girls) it bugs me how willing people are to ask for advice from random tumblr "fit" bloggers. I mean why are you asking a random person on the internet if your exercise or diet plan is going to work? Why ask them if what you had for breakfast is good for losing weight? How the hell should they know? Go ask an F-ing doctor, nutritionist, or personal trainer. Or look it up. You can find quality information on line. And if that doesn't work, last I checked libraries were still around. Go ask them, it's what they're paid for, to find you information! Also if I have to see another "selfie" someone took because they wanted to make sure they looked good before a skype conversation I might kill my computer. Since when did web cams replace mirrors?
Sorry - The other question was: when is my Anniversary with the BF?
I generally make him celebrate our anniversary the first weekend in October. We met October 2, 2008 during the Vice Presidential debate. I remember it so vividly because I was tired from work (it was a Thursday) and I wanted to stay home and watch them. But it was over two weeks later that we finally had our first date. I thought he was going to give up because I canceled the first time we were supposed to go for drinks, and then I was out of town with dancing friends the next time he wanted to take me out.

The munchie monster is evil!! I've been mostly winning but it's struggle. I rarely use google reader so I guess I'll be okay when they go away? I just use the blogger dash and if they will still be there then I'm good.
The munchie monster is the reason why I could never work-out in the early mornings.. The few times I have done it, I have been stuffing my face the rest of the day.. Try to put it behind you and have a new go :)
I have a tumblr (added you) - I just love the maybe smart healthy recipes that are there. There are also a bunch of good motivational pictures ect. I don't really reblog unless there is something I want to use/read later on. The blogs I follow there, are either people I know from blogger, or blogs I find sensible.
I agree with the annoying part of it.. I mean EVERYONE is a fitblr.. WTF... because you have gone to the gym once, it doesn't make you an expert..
Anywho :) You anniversay is still a few months away, and I am sure you will be able to fit into that dress by then :) GL
