Sorry for the GIF. I tend to hate them - they make my eyes hurt. But it came up in my tumblr today, and I was just talking about this move to the BF. And how proud I was to have mastered it finally.
I don't know what this move was called it was in workout 9. But damn is it killer. I did workout 9 a total of 6 times (2x wee, 3 weeks). The first time I couldn't do 3 because I couldn't hold myself and twist under like that. I would do 1 come to my knees, reset, do another etc. By widening my stance, the next few times I could stay up, but I still wasn't doing very many. I busted out 8 on each side both circuits on my last workout. And I was doing it properly like Jillian and the dude behind her (not like the cheaters in the back right corner!)
I started my final 3 weeks of Body Revolution. (Sorry, I haven't kept up with the tab on the top. Next time I definitely will, probably include reps and weights with the exercises too.) This last phase is starting to be my favorite. Workouts 5 and 6 were pretty good. 9 and 10 were awesome. Definitely difficult. I was dripping sweat by the end of circuit 1. The first circuit was always the hardest with the most exercised though, I finally figured that out. And it made life a lot easier (mentally at least).
I am finally seeing some weight loss. I'm down about 3.5 lbs. It would have been more, but I gained 2 over the weekend. The BF and I went to see Man of Steel and I indulged in movie theater popcorn, and plenty of chocolate. Then we had mexican for dinner. Sunday I let myself snack in front of the tv too much after he left for the airport (for work this week). I had been doing pretty well in that regard. I was measuring or counting everything, don't know what happened on Sunday. But at the rate I'm finally going, even 2 lbs on the weekend isn't bad because I lose it in a day or two anyway. I've been about -1.5 lb a week the last couple of weeks. It's not lightening fast, but it's the right direction and that's all that matters.
I think if I stay on that route, as long as I don't go over board on my vacation in a month, I should be on track to fit into my first date pants for my 5th anniversary with the BF!
