This is a little over due as April ended a week ago. 1/3 of the year gone. Crazy.

So once again, April went fine for 3 weeks and the last week I said, fuck it and shoved candy and sweets into my face every day.

Black Kitty seems to like the new morning routine and knows the sound of my alarm. She's out of bed and in the living room before I am. My phone is my alarm clock and the charging station is in there. So it is very convenient. This last week wasn't great as I went straight back to bed -once just curling up on the couch- each day after playing with BK.

May's goals are to stop eating in my car, which is a major source of my late night eating.  And to food journal every day. I'm trying to decide whether I use My fitness pal, Recovery Record (phone app), or a notebook.

With MFP I can do calories and it's with me on my phone, though I generally don't use my phone at work, it is online. I do like using pen and paper because I think it's faster than searching for foods online. I already know what the calories are for a ton of food I eat. But it's not convenient when going out. Recovery Record does not count calories, but feelings associated when you eat, how much you're eating, and if you feel like binging/purging. It asks you these questions at each meal which I like.

In other news - I have become lazy again. Have not applied for jobs or tried to since early march. Though a friend of mine did try to recruit me for Amway recently.

I really hate my job, but it pays the bills and I'm just being totally complacent. I don't know how to snap out of it.

-Thank you for the kind comment on my hair. It's been a huge adjustment because I'm not used to looking this way, but I like that it is so easy to take care of.

time just flies by.. Lately I keep having to check my phone calender to see what day it is...

I am using sparkpeople lately.. I had to register most of my foods, and their web page is kind of annoying due to all the ads - but I like that it give me an OK range.. It is not as harsh as MFP where you are doing bad if you go 5 cals over your daily limit..

It also doesn't remove the exercise calories from your daily budget.. I like the option of wanting to eat or not eat back those calories..
