So I am trying this thing, where I am being nice to myself. Or at least not beating myself up as much. I didn't lose any weight today. I'm down a couple of pounds from the beginning of the week. And while I didn't meet my Friday goal, I am trying to be positive about the facts that a) I lost something, and b) I exercised. I think that where I went wrong yesterday was eating too close to my bedtime. Instead of going to bed hungry I ate a bowl of cereal while watching Twin Peaks.
Two things I need to learn from this 1) Don't watch Twin Peaks before bed, it will make for bizzaro dreams and waking up wondering if that noise really was the cat or not. And 2) Don't eat just before bed time.
I could go into a tailspin and really restrict today and beat myself up for being so dumb and really berate myself. But instead I am just going to chalk it up to lesson learned. Not eating after a certain time - maybe 8 to make it doable on the weekends- is going to go on my New Years Resolution list.

TK: I think the subscription is for xbox live. It's a deal that Best Buy has (maybe other places too) where it only cost you $100 or $150 with certain games. Otherwise it would cost $250-300. Of course the subscription fee for a year means you're spending more than just buying it out right. For some people who would get the Xbox and Xbox live it's probably a good deal. But I have no need for that. So I will wait until I can get a good deal on just the machine.
Miranda: I am hoping that the idea of rewards will a)keep me motivated and b)help me with my finances. If I only have about $30 a month to spend on something I want, hopefully I won't splurge during the month. And I am hoping that eliminating my bad habits (like junk food) will help me save some money.
