Backing up to the beginning of the wedding process...
Some details were pretty easy to decide on. We both wanted a fall wedding, and even though I didn't want to ask (luckily the FH brought it up) I really liked the idea of getting married at his family's place. They live on what was once a working farm (there are still a few fields that they rent out to be farmed by others). And have all these really big old maple trees, which will hopefully make for beautiful pictures in October.

Hopefully by October we'll have some lovely fall colors to get married by. |
The plan came together pretty easily... have the ceremony out doors w/ a reception under a tent. All really close together, and fairly easy to manage.
I started doing wedding research right away and FH started dividing tasks based on who felt more strongly. I booked a coordinator, dj, and photographer. FH found the tent guy, caterer and will be doing all the stuff to get the outdoors (chairs, placement, lights etc) ready.
Things like decorations we came to a census about once I narrowed down my top choices.
And FH has been amazing. He gives his opinion, but then will say that what ever makes me happy is fine with him. So, there have been times that I've been over ruled, and times I've over ruled him. But so far the only thing we've "fought" about is the guest list.
