The plus side - I got to spend the first two hours at work catching up on 3 weeks of blog reading. I know it's not the best work ethic in the world. But half of my job is to sit at this desk and wait for people to have questions. So, frankly as long as I'm sitting here I think I should get paid.
The down side is I have about 3 weeks of stuff to catch up on.
The fast version - two weeks of march were the worst eating I've had in a long while. Inventory at work meant cookies, donuts, bagels, lunch and dinner out. Once I was used to eating that way I had a hard time shaking it.
At the beginning of April I re-committed to a food journal. Even when I messed up and binged, I wrote it down. This past weekend is the first time since April 1 that I didn't record, because it was my birthday! Which was added incentive to keep the food journal and to be good.
So far it's working! My current weight is: 120.5. Considering I was 122.75 on April 1, I am hugely happy. I am especially happy because Wed, Thurs, and Friday last week I was stuck at 121.
Unfortunately in the past week I've gotten sick. I thought I had a sinus infection so a week and a half ago I went to a clinic and the nurse decided I had allergies. I was taking zertec and a decongestant (man do I love pseudophedrine)every day, then last thursday I woke up with the worst sore throat and stuffed up like never before. I am pretty sure I don't have allergies.
It probably didn't help that I had stayed up really late on Wednesday (and again on Thursday) trying to finish a big homework project. I still haven't been able to shake it - my birthday celebration probably didn't help either.
My birthday was on friday - I had work (boo!) and my BF sent me flowers! (yay!) My co-worker was so jealous. :) Then we went to a concert. Afterward we went to a bar/restaurant with a bunch of his friends and some of mine also stopped by. One of our mutual friends bought me 3 shots, plus I had 3 normal drinks - except that the bartender was being so generous that they were all practically doubles. I had opted for a nap instead of going out to dinner that day, so I pretty well wasted by the end of the night. I spent the night on the bathroom floor periodically throwing up. No wonder my throat isn't better, but at least I got rid of alot of empty booze calories.
I'm manged pretty consistently to skip any real dinner the past week and a half, and do some kind of exercise most days (except for the heavy homework days, I didn't have time). So my average has been about 1200 calories before exercise - 800-900 with exercise.
I have fallen in work-out love with Jillian Michaels. Her No More Trouble Zones dvd is the greatest - I was sore for 3 days!!
