Down another 1.8 today. I know that should make me happy, and it does, but it's not enough.

I was up early and did level 2 of Ripped in 30, then a quick rinse off and breakfast and off to volunteering. Stuffing envelopes for 3.5 hours for a local animal shelter. It isn't fun, but the place is donation driven and these mailings will help. Even though I was anxious to get home to exercise I didn't leave until I had finished almost 200 mailings, then ran to catch my bus home.

Yesterday I did an hour long jog/walk that burned tons of calories. But it was just a little chilly and I was lacking the motivation to leave the house a second time (I'm such a stupid home-body sometimes!) after it took an hour to get home from volunteering.  I didn't even feel like changing the DVD. What I really wanted to do was sit with my kitty cat and watch Supernatural on Netflix. But I didn't. I did put on Supernatural, but then I started level 3 of Ripped in 30. I did another circuit of level 2, but then realized I was running out of time to not be late for work. So I turned it off and did jumping jacks, high knees, and butt kicks, until I reached a decent calorie burn (per my HRM).

I left a few things out of my lunch bag for dinner at work, because I couldn't be bothered with anything that was more difficult to make and eat than heating in the microwave. My cals are going to be 812 and burned was 618. That doesn't include me walking to and from the train station or running to catch the bus. I am hoping  it is enough to give me a good push for tomorrow.

My dress last year at about 125 lb.  The dress is American Living Size 4.
It was a little tight especially in the tummy,
but I don't think it was too noticeable (until I point it out!).
Had silver/gold glitter pumps and silver jewelry to round out the look.

I made the mistake of trying on my dress before working out (it actually motivated me to work out though, otherwise who knows what would have happened) and it still not fitting. It is zipping up farther than before but I am super petrified that it won't fit on Saturday and I am going to be driving to the nearest mall before the dinner.

I am tempted to go super minimal food wise on Friday and practically fast on Saturday to see if I can make it. But at the same time I know that doing that will set me up for failure as soon as the weekend is over. Blech.  Since we'll be out of town for the party we have a rental car, and I may go try on some Spanx with the dress to see if that helps.... provided it zips up by then.  If it doesn't, well, I guess I'll be shopping for a new dress instead.

Good luck! It will work out in the end! Spanx = God. Or, if you're open to it, an underbust corset/cincher can work wonders. :}

(Also, even corset training intensely for the next three days straight until the event could do the trick. If you have $100-$500 for something strong enough to last at least until Saturday night perhaps you should research reputable corset shops in your area)

Best, h

Nothing like fitting into a dress to get you motivated! You are doing good. I think you can do it.

Thanks for the blog love! I just scoured the internet for recipes. I'm trying to slowly get rid of all my store-bought chemically-laden products and replace them with all natural homemade ones.
