So now that I am getting closer to my 118 goal, I notice that I'm still not as small as I was the last time I weighed 118. Which means I've still got fat to lose, but I need to replace it with muscle too. I used to be really wirey, you could see my biceps and triceps and I had a flat tummy. which I still do not have right now.
I remembered finally to measure myself this month I have lost .25 - .5 inches everywhere except my calf and my abs. The calf makes sense with all the running, but I bet it starts to shrink eventually. The abs tho... I know there are strong muscles underneath I just need to burn the fat on top. I am still about 4 inches away from my goal around my hips. I only have until the 4th of July to get them back to 34 inches around. There is a killer pair of red capris I want to wear for 4th of July and I won't fit into them until I'm 34" at my hips.
I reserved a whole bunch of exercise videos at the library. I hear good things about the biggest loser workout so I put that one on hold then I got a mix of cardio and toning dvds. I am hoping that if I just do a video on the days I don't run I will start to burn a little faster. I have to step it up because at a rate of .5 inches a month it will be November before I see those pants.
